S2 was alright, more of the same really. The leads are good and the female empowerment aspect is well played, but the writing is sloppy in the corners with lots of 'if they're so smart, why'd they do something so dumb?' moments. The solves were all a bit over the top even with plenty of belief suspension. S2e1-2 saw a major character switch for the lead. S2e3-4 had a nice progression to replace said character. Overall, okay, but not stellar as brit detective shows go. 

Never any sword fights. Not DOOM recommended, although a good showcase for the daughter of Emma Peel.
