This is a doc about a Chech painter living in Norway who’s 2 most important paintings are stolen from an exhibit. One of the thieves is later caught and while in court, she talks to him and later has him sit as a model. They build a friendship and she tries to learn more about her missing paintings. As we watch, we learn about his drug problems, troubled childhood, etc, but we also learn about hers.
I wonder about the “spontenaety” of the film as the camera was present and rolling through so many pivotal moments. It was a compelling doc and I’d recommend it but it was pretty slow paced.
