Documentary about the people in Florida who are building the largest home in the country (90,000 sf) and based on the Chateau at Versailles. It focuses mainly on the wife, hence the title.
It was horrifying. They are truly awful people, almost like bums who have lots of money. They never clean up anything and the dogs shit in the house. We see the niece sitting on her bed, and there aren't even any sheets on it, just a bare mattress. Junk is piled up everywhere. The lizard is found dead because the kids were too lazy to feed it or give it water. The mom goes to Walmart at Christmas and buys a ton of crap, including several of the same game, and when they unload the car, they put the new bikes in the garage where there are already 20-30 bikes. The mom is obviously on some sort of drugs all the time, and the husband just ignores her. His money is from vacation timeshares - basically browbeating dumb people into buying them. Some schadenfreude when money gets tight for them in the 2008 downturn, but they end up mostly alright unfortunately. The oldest daughter died of an overdose after this was made.
