Binged the last 4 eps of Maltese. We were only going to watch two but got engaged, plus it was a rain day so what else was there to do? It was very satisfying. I solved the mystery of the key witness. Stacy solved the ultimate villain. We'd make a great detective team - massage therapist and martial arts writer.
Ep 6 & 7 got very mafia with the hits and the dead animal threats. But overall, it was the settings and the style that won us over. Nice storytelling, evenly paced, with decently fleshed out characters. And clues from the beginning came into play throughout, just like a decent mystery series should.
DOOM recommended.
