[Drunk Monk]

I took my Shaolin monk master to the Rosicrucian a few years ago. That was the last time I went and I was struck by how much it was the same as I remembered it back when I went in ... high school? Dang, I don't know. I visited it with in the last 20 years because we went there as part of KFTC. There was discussion of them advertising with us. However, we didn't see the collection. We went to a back office, which was pretty cool, and they offered us passes but I was with Gigi and she wasn't into it. When I went with my master, we had a blast. He was really into the building models for some reason. One of his students was with us and she had this translator app on her phone where she could view all the display descriptions and get them instantly translated to Chinese. That was impressive and made it more fun. 

I don't know which museum I'll hit first. Something in SF maybe. Anything.

BACK ON TOPIC - we finished Mystery in Paris tonight - e7 was the Elysee Palace. An assassination plot. Another strong woman who life is changed, but in a switch, she's more mature, the mother of a son who serves in the palace. We didn't visit that palace, but the story had a decent mcguffin and we failed to predict the ending. The palace looked beautiful.
