[*]According to nbcboston.com, unexplained metal objects, aka monoliths, have mysteriously popped up everywhere from Southern California to Utah's red-rock dessert to Romania.
But the most recent one popped up right here in New England at a quarry in Quincy, Massachusetts.
It was discovered this past Saturday morning at the Quincy Quarries Reservation and seemed to disappear as quickly as it came, the news station reported.

[*]The article describes the monolith to look like a crop circle made in the snow. It's all very '2001: A Space Odyssey', if you ask me.

Do you think this means there is intelligent life on other planets trying to contact us? Or do you think it's just a group of cheeky teenagers trying to freak us out?
