I like to check out the film festival websites which I have entered. Some times they make their slates and neglect to send out notifications.
Today I went to the SF IndieFest to see if there was any news. They don't notify until Jan 9 but what the hell. For whatever reason I found the whole slate of films that they were going to put on during their February Festival. Sadly, I did not see Stro:TMDS among the list.
It seemed odd they would have the slate already put together with over twenty days left to go in their decision process. I thought maybe these might be part of last year's festival that maybe had been cancelled and they were going to be added to this year's festival. I emailed the program director to find out what was up. I immediately got a note back saying the slate hadn't been finalized and where had I seen the slate? I told him. I went back to the site, but I now get an error message when I try to view the slate. Something is hinky. I can still go to one film's purchase page to see it, though.
I figure they have a slate. They just don't want to announce it so they can look like they are giving all the films due diligence. And like I said, no sign of Stro on that list.
***Update*****
Further investigation shows that the films I found are part of the SFIndieFest 2020 slate, I think. The title of the page refers to 2020

As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm
