275: Today is all about my mom's dental work. She has a major extraction at the surgeon's and then she's getting a new crown next door at her regular dentist. I'll be doing her shopping while she's getting the work done.
FUCK! My car was broken into again. Someone must have hijacked my key code because there was no sign of entry. Stacy found the door ajar, the glove compartment open and empty and the CDs strewn over the passenger seat. It was parked in our driveway.
A neighbor from down the street found most of the stuff strewn over her yard and was kind enough to return it. Most everything seems to have come back, including insurance, CDs, sanitizer, some disposable masks, and our CA state park pass, everything but our registration. Godammit. That's needed.
There were some cops across the street, but they were dealing with unregistered vehicles on the other side of Seabright. I talked to them. They were helpful but didn't have anything beyond filing an electronic report, as I suspected. I'll do that later today because I have to get my registration replaced.
And the Funkmobile, the junker car we inherited from our previous neighbor, is still unregistered. There's been a hold up at DMV because of the pandemic. We've been trying to solve that distantly but we have to go in and have been putting that off. So Stacy just took that car for a ride until the cops leave.
I gotta go to my mom's now and get her sorted.
