I've been saying that I need to purge the stuff, starting with boxes of my own crap. I left a lot of stuff at my folk's house and often dumped random boxes there, especially after we downsized from Ranch Macbeth to our present beach bungalow (literally half the square footage). Most recently, I've got a few boxes of crap from my KFM office of 20 years - I've been nibbling at that as I've been building my home office. I have three rooms with scattered random boxes plus some odd items in the garage. I keep thinking I should deal with the boxes of books first. But then the pandemic shut down my usual book traders.
That doesn't even begin to deal with my folk's stuff. My mom keeps saying she might do some cleaning but never does.
There's a stack of duraflame logs next to my mom's fireplace. I keep meaning to take them and toss them in a beach bonfire. But then the pandemic removed all the firepits on the local beaches.
There's a bit about a dead cat in Driveways that was well played. They never show the cat but it becomes a solid plot point from a shot of a cat tree to the inevitable yard sale. At least that won't be an issue.
