Have you seen Bigfoot? That is the question the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office is asking the public after a Bigfoot statue was stolen from the Bigfoot Museum in Felton.
A 4-foot tall statue, weighing between 150 and 200 pounds, was taken sometime between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Monday. A wooden bear statue was also taken at the same time.
The museum has been closed due to the pandemic, said Bigfoot Discovery Museum Curator Michael Rugg. Rugg said the lock securing the Bigfoot statue had been cut.
Anyone with information about the statues or their whereabouts are asked to call the sheriff's office non-emergency dispatch at [url=tel:831-471-1121]831-471-1121.
