The Song of Names (2019)
#1
A violin child virtuoso Jewish refugee from Warsaw is raised by an English family during WWII. They provide for him, train him, and get him a historic violin, but on the day of his debut concert, he disappears. Tim Roth plays the son of the English family who goes searching for his boyhood friend a half century later. Clive Owen is the violinist. It’s well told, bouncing back and forth through time with three actors for each role. The music is exquisite and the song of names is a mourning remembrance. Quite poignant as a tale of the holocaust. Hits all the right notes.

No sword fights but a good violin duel in a fallout shelter. Recommended for DOOMers with a classical ear.
