A well constructed doc on typewriters - collectors, users, a shop, an artist - history and philosophy. This went a lot of unexpected places and asked some intriguing questions. Features Tom Hanks, John Mayer, Sam Shepard, David McCullough - all typewriter aficionados. Made me proud that I still have a working cast-iron protable Royal (although the ribbon is probably dry). Multiple interwoven story arcs many circling California Typewriter which is a store in Berkeley. It's very Bay Area.
