That was one of the biggest WTF was that Mondays.
I was looking forward to the Monday commute as the commute has been mellow, but it was raining hard at summit, foggy, low vis, so unsettling. Stacy packed me a lunch as she's out of work and didn't want me going to a restaurant as is my modus operendi.
After lunch, all hell broke loose.
The Shelter in Place order was issued. We turned on the break room TV and everyone scrambled to get thigns sorted for the break - shipping as much as we could to clients and the TN office so they could fulfill orders until further notice. I was tasked to write a ton of emailblasts to clients while managing my KFTC accounts and reearch EDD for the company. A fire broke out next door that was at least a 3 alarmer. And my mom called at exactly this moment of chaos to tell me she had arranged a pick up for the TV on Thursday. I told her to turn on the TV because I doubted that would happen and I couldn't grab the dolly anyway with the TC closure.
Things fell into place as best as they could by days end. I drove home and realized I should've requested a compensation check the company owes me for a little over a hundred. Not sure about payday in two weeks. Not sure about anything.
On the way home, as I was passing a car near Redwood Estates, I skidded out and almost crashed. i thought my car failed me - it's due for maintainence. But then I saw the hail and ice. It was icy all the way to Laurel curve. Like WTAF?!?
There was supposed to be a JAH med teleconference tonight but only me and my psych co-lead remembered. Two others chimed in late. We called it off, telling the others that we just had the Shelter in Place order. They are all Nor CA so they still think they will be doing the upcoming 4/20 show and Cali Roots. I doubt this. Highly.
