I expected when the family returned to the house, they would turn the tables on the other family in some way, that they would be the Parasites in some manner. 

But they were.  That's what the Ram-don scene was all about.   Ram-don is Korean jjapaguri (instant noodle brands jjapeghetti + neoguri) and by adding the sirloin steak, it symbolized the rich (the steak) leeching from the poor (the ram-don).  Bong created the recipe for this film to make that statement.  It was the centerpoint to the Korean class narrative.
