A fine piece - all over the place. Mahler isn't a fav of Stacy's. Me neither really. I respect the magnitude of his compositions, but they can be difficult to follow - like a few dozen movie soundtracks tossed in a blender. We have new seats, house right, second row up the stairs by the backstage hallway. It's close to percussion, which I always enjoy, and really close to stage, plus the hallway offers better ventilation which is a big issue at the civic. These will be our seats for the rest of the season.
