It's raining now. Great. Just when I'm about to head up to SF.
Beyond Billie getting hit by a car yesterday (see http://www.brotherhoodofdoom.com/doomFor...4#pid35834) I had a bothersome morning. I got up around 5:30 and turned on the stove to make tea. But I turned on the wrong burner and instead heated our cast-iron skillet and the butter-seasoning of that skillet burned, setting off the fire alarm. On our last inspection, our landlord set us up with new fire/c02 alarms that don't have any way to shut them up once they trigger. And they go off at random. Can't stand them. So it's blaring and I try to fan it, try poking it with a stick, then i get up on a chair to take it down and I crack my head on the door frame really hard. I was so mad that I swatted it off the ceiling and smashed the damn thing.
But I'm turning this shit around soon. Like in 5 mins.
