After Mirrormask and Batman Begins, I was just starting to think that Hollywood was getting the whole comic-to-movie thing together. Once again, we could learn a lot from Japanese cinema. The New Maggimoto Castle is disturbingly like the old Maggimoto Castle and it's not because of all the action figures still in their plastic cases on the walls. The feng shui is frigteningly parallel, just a little more roomy, but the dogs fill those spaces up so it feels just about the same. Curiouser and curiouser...
