new neighbors.
the house to the left of our bungalow has always been annoying. it's super skinny, not really room enough for more than two and no real yard. first there was a family of three. the daughter was about tara's age but they never connected. she used to sneak tokes out of what i assume was her bedroom window. i had a perfect view of her trying to be all stealth from my tv sofa. saw it so many times and it always made me nostalgic for my youth. glad she and tara never connected.
then there was a single mom with three precocious kids. they were native americans and spent some summers in wyoming on the rez, renting out the place thru airbnb. once a drunk tenant came into our bungalow, said something incoherent and then fled when i confronted her. we had left the door open and were watching tv. but the owner's kids were cute sometimes, annoying other times. there was a lot of fighting and shouting. very noisy. so many people came and went. the house was bought for her but it didn't work out. she never 'got it together' like her benefactors (parents) wanted and left last spring, rather suddenly.
it was vacant most of the summer except for workers refurbishing.
this week, a new tenant seems to have staked claim. there's a new wifi address, plus a 'guest' wifi of the same name. two similar black muscle cars with almost identical vanity plates - an alphanumeric code one digit apart - maybe a hamm radio address. one has a deadpool sunscreen. haven't seen them yet but i suspect they are agents - men in black. or aliens. aliens could hide here in the cruz easily.
