Oh, the despondency. The despair.
I was driving in Saratoga near Lynch Manor when I noticed about of 'For Sale' signs on the neighbors house on Maureen Way. There was also a sign that said 'Free Tools'. I immediately went in. The Free Tool give away was going on in the garage which was the size of a warehouse. A bunch of young men were arranging the tools to give away. And I was the first guy there. I asked what I could take and they got the guy in charge of the sale who said I could take anything.
At the front was a line of big power tools. I took a chop saw and some other big pieces. I hemmed and hawed over wether to take one of the portable welding units.
I made way into the room. To the left there against the wall was a row of Mechanics Toolboxes full of socket wrenches. On the back wall hung a dizzying array of hand saws and other hand tools. I was thinking to myself how was I go to carrying all the stuff I wanted to take when I noticed a stack of those hand baskets you get at the grocery store to carry your groceries. I grabbed one and immediately started to fill it up. They also had tool repair kits for pneumatic tools. I grabbed one of the little clear envelopes full of a an assortment of parts like o-rings and rubber bands. The bag opened and the pieces fell to the bottom of the basket.
As I was trying to get the pieces back into the envelope, I awoke. The euphoria of getting a garage full of tools for free immediately dissipated. I lay in bed so unhappy at the loss.

As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm
