When you spoke during the episode, you were the guy who had cool knowledge to share. When Ilya spoke it was like he needed to prove he knew stuff, too.
Also, the lighting in their shop was too dramatic. All the close up of flames and sparks was cool, but if I worked in that area all I would be saying was "Can we get some light on in here so I can see what I'm doing"?
