Before we get too far into this, I think there are some issues needing to be worked first.
For one, can ninjas fly? I mean, that's something we should decide before we start creating material.
And I don't think we should rely on other people's research:

Personally, I am of the opinion that ninjas cannot fly.
However, they can hover for short periods of time in a marvelous mimickry of air.
