All American 'reality' shows are sooooo lame. The Japanese have it down. Not just in pranks like the portable toilet. Not just in weird poodle and 'spare me my life' aerobics. It's their game shows. They understand that losers must be punished in humiliating and painful ways. They understand that such punishment is intrinsically entertaining.
