Life Legacy
Thomas Carl Littig, age 59, of San Francisco, CA, formerly of Willow Grove, PA passed away suddenly on April 6, 2018; dear son of Gail Mignogna (nee: McGhee) and the late William Littig; beloved brother of Stephen (Sharon) Littig, Mark (Karen) Littig, and Lori (Alan) Donatelli; dear step-brother of Joseph (Jill) Mignogna; also survived by 4 nieces.
Growing up in Roslyn, Tom loved to experience many different activities such as, riding in go-carts, building and launching homemade rockets, playing the guitar and practicing the art of photography while attending local rock concerts. Later in his teens, Tom’s love of the guitar, music and photography drew him to the Rock-n-Roll scene. He combined those interests to entertain countless friends with his slide shows from photos taken at concerts, while timing them to the music he loved. Tom’s passion for music never faded through the years. Tom was an outgoing, gregarious character who genuinely loved people and who people were drawn to, with his big personality. If there is a concert in heaven featuring Bowie, Petty, and Garcia, our Tom will be in the front row enjoying a heavenly brew along with his friends.
Tom attended school in the Abington School District through his junior year, then attended Upper Dublin High School his senior year, graduating in 1976. After high school, he completed his studies at Philco-Ford Technical Institute. Tom has lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for the past 40 years, and for the last 35 years has worked his way up to the position of Brewer at Anchor Steam Brewing Company.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Tuesday morning from 9:00 to 10:30 am., followed by services at 10:30 am., at the ANGELONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, 19090. Interment Hillside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 555 Croton Rd. Suite 111, King of Prussia, PA 19406. www.jdrf.org/easternpa
