... on top of getting ready to put on a megaworkshop in Vegas for which I wrote 30 courses and workbooks, and on top of needing to turn 10 of those courses into online courses (when? oh as soon as you possibly can, yesterday would be good), I'm also in the middle of everything that goes into the annual software update - writing an online certification course for all my freelance trainers, updating the CBT, the existing online courses for the customers, writing a new "Intro to Version 7" course for the customers.
Now, this is actualy relatively par for the course and I've gotten used to this end-of-year madness. But apparently my calm demeanor and failure to panic and complain was a tactical mistake, because my boss assigns me one more little project. Figure out everything that would be necessary to put together a webinar program that we can launch as of January 2, 2006, and let's expect to launch an on-demand pay-per-view of recorded webinars by April. Doesn't that sound like a swell idea? No big deal, right?
If I have to sit through one more web-conferencing demo, I may have to slit my own throat. I never want to talk to another software sales person as long as I live. And I haven't even started talking to the online registration software reps. Oh joy. Bleah!!!
