Greg and I were channel flipping and caught something where some idiots were trying to nail something, and hit the nail with the hammer repeatedly, like more than a dozen times. After screaming at the screen, he taught me that you should never have to hit a nail more than three times -- once to set it, once to get it halfway in, once to complete the job.

Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
