You might want to check with ancestry.com. Could be you're a good chunk American Indian, and those genes are just now starting to express.
I worked for many years with a guy with psoriasis over 75% of his body. He talked openly about all his medical travails. Not fun.
But this guy had been battling it from a young age, and he'd fallen off the proper treatment protocol numerous times.
When treated, I think it can almost always be contained, and affected areas greatly reduced.
