I'm more broken than you
Boy, this thread is getting long. And quite diverse.

Six months ago I noticed large red splotches on my elbows and my thighs. I told my doctor and at first she thought I had some sort of deadly fungus and reacted in alarm to the sight of it. But she calmed down and diagnosed me. She gave me some steroid cream and sent me on my way.

Well, the cream didn't work. But I keep thinking this psoriasis is no big deal. It's just red patches right? In many cases they itch or are painful, but in my case, they feel fine. Unless I accidentally scratch one of them. Then, it's like I put a hot match on my body. For instance, this morning Dani jumped up to bite her leash, she caught one of the patches on the back of my hand with her teeth. It felt somebody shoved a nail through there. But other than that, it's all good. I can live with red spots.

The internet would have me think differently. Since I did a search on the internet, I get psoriasis ads in my Facebook feed every day. Plus, there is a plethora of ads on TV about the dangers of psoriasis and the cure. Although the side effects for these cures make me want to stick with the psoriasis.

Except for the fact that Psoriasis can lead to psoriatic arthritis. See, psoriasis is your bodies immune system overreacting and creating more skin to fight damage that hasn't occurred. It also leads to pain in your joints. Which I don't have. Knock on wood.

Also, the red spots are appear on more spots on my body. Before it was just localized to my elbows and a small patch on my thigh. Now, I have red dots up and down my legs and arms. The small patches have grown in size, too. Soon, I'll be a giant red blob.

This Thursday, I have my biannual check up. I guess my doctor and I are going to have another thing to talk about.
As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm
