I saw it on cable years later, when I was not a teenager in a Foreign Land. I enjoyed it, thought it was a good movie, but did not know about the director's cut. I may look that up.
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.
