I'm more broken than you
Wow. Sorry. I was just going by my own personal experience of being a diabetic and what fasting, intermittent or otherwise does to my body.

For instance, I eat dinner at around 6pm and then have breakfast at 6am. That's about 12 hours without food. My blood sugar pre-breakfast is between 105 and 115. Then I eat 2 meals and two light snacks and measure my blood sugar before dinner. My blood sugar is between 80 and 90. 

Granted, it is only a pool of one. I don't have anything for you to look up.
As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm
