I watched it because my wife wanted to, and also to watch Anne Hathaway. I was entertained because I came in with zero expectations. Later I thought it was sort of like a contemporary version of old movies like My Man Godfrey. Only that one was way better. Of course it was - William Powell was in it. Maybe not a great example. So more like some of those old movies you find on TCM that you've never heard of.
