A pure Dylan paradoxical music video stretched into a movie with a great cast of cameo characters, all of whom clearly did it just to work with Dylan. There's some really wry humor if you're into Dylan like Penelope Cruz, John Goodman and Luke Wilson interpreting Dylan tunes. Every line sounds more like Dylan lyrics than dialog. But it's all about the music performances, which stitch together this semi-sensical mythic tale of Dylan as if he were a character in his own lyrical land.
