shots are only temp fixes. i used to get them for my arthritis. then i just started poking myself with a needle instead.
i take a joint formula regularly - chondrotin, msm, ground bone of baby puffins. i don't think it really helps but i take it anyway.
i have all sorts of ergonomic pillows on my bed and funky cushions in my car and at my desk here in the office. i find i have to shift it all around every once in a while.
and i do qigong every day. i slowed up when i moved to the cruz, which was a mistake that i've paid for dearly. i'm back on it now. that probably helps the most. i do 8 section brocade, which might not be the best for hips as half of it is in horse stance. i imagine five animals is better for hips just from looking at it. but i think any qigong is helpful. it's better than tai chi for therapy. in fact, i think that's what most people think tai chi is - they think it's qigong only. when you take the quan out, qigong can be strictly therapeutic.
