I've never read the Dredd comics. I didn't think the Stallone version was terrible. More of meh.
I liked this version. I think the visuals, especially the super slo-mo worked really well. I did not see this in 3-d, merely at home on the Blu-Ray. still worked. Lots of Ultra-Vi. Lots of indoor gun enthusiasm.
Reminded me a lot of Raid-Redemption.
