Here i am, winding down after a hard day of climbing bridges, riding boats, ogling German nymphettes, buying kangaroo-skin motorcycle gloves, watching parrots chase each other around the palm trees...
...a day or two ago, it was dodging kangaroos at a golf course, eating kangaroo at a restaurant (HK put it on the menu; kangaroos are tasty!). Rough duty. The Grrl was gone yesterday and most of today, so it was just me, on my own, in Sydney. Dr. PPFY, Scourge of the Kangaroos!
The best description of Sydney is Vancouver, BC with LA weather. Unlike the Queen, i have been able to find basic single malts (Fiddich, Talisker, McCallan). the beer is pretty uninspiring, just generic hot-weather pilsners and very light ales.
The Grrl is done with her work, so it is vacation for two tomorrow. Fly back Saturday.
