If you ever wanted the Cliff notes version of the history of Martial arts films, this is the movie for you. It's like talking to DM but with pictures. It goes all the way from the fifties and sixties to 2009. Everything from Bruce Lee to Stephen Chou. This film finally solidified what DM has been trying to explain to me all these years. It does go at a pretty good clip so you have to keep. And it is no means an exhaustive survey. But it was fun. I got to see a lot of martial arts film clips. And I got to keep asking myself why do the Chinese make so many Ninja films? I streamed it on Netflix.
