The art is a little pretentious, but I like having all the celestial info, like there's a solar eclipse on my daughter's birthday this year. Besides, I've been writing a horoscope for the mag for over a decade now, so that's just helpful info for me. The calendar kiosk at the mall was pretty picked over (being stingy, I almost always wait for the Jan calendar sale). There were a lot of store casualties at the mall too - here for Xma$ 2011, gone after NYE 2012.

I almost got a pom calendar. I am totally serious. It was so close.
