Around the 11th century Asia was crawling with hundreds of small hordes, or hordelets as we now call them. One of these hordelets was led by a powerful warrior. But he was killed. So his son, Temudgin was kicked out to pull himself up by his bootstraps and make a living.
Temudgin tried several occupations, including slave, warrior and performance artist before settling on ruthless chieftan.
This movie tells the story of Ghengis Khan before he got his horde on.
It reminded me a lot of 'Conan the Barbarian'.
Also, the lead actor looks exactly like DM in several scenes.
