...Dm puts together that 'stronger, faster, better' tune from the final anime as the backing for that pop rap song that's been on the airwaves by that pop star that Dm totally knows but just can't think of his name right now (MC Petey? No, no, that's not it). Ironically, Dm's Shaolin teacher, a disrobed monk, has that on his iPod mix and plays it while we train. He has a really goofy mix: Chinese rap & Cantopop, Kung fu flick soundtrack tunes, Katy Perry, Beyonce, Steven Marley. It actually brings me back to training in China sometimes, where the music mix always seemed so random. Now when that tune drops, Dm is right back with the Brotherhood, which is always a good place to be.
There is no way I can ever repay the intro to walnut pizza. I'm now on a quest to find more enlightened pizza places that offer this manna of the gods.
