NTTG 2026
It's WWDC day at the fruit factory. Haircut at noon to correct the faux-hawk my son helped me with that's grown out...work, work, work, then work some more, then maybe play a song at open mic tonight if I get picked. I'm working on Someday by The Strokes on ukulele. I have the guitar parts mostly down, I just need to work on the lyrics and trying to do both at the same time...

Feel like I've just taken a bottle of crazy pills talking to PG&E for an hour trying to straighten out my electrical bill. All of a sudden I'm paying for electricity where I have never paid for electricity in the past six years. Basically, I sell them more solar energy that I use. I'm looking at adding up all the energy I sent to the grid per hour and subtracting all the money I bought from the grid per hour over the course of a month.

For some reason, you can't calculate it by day, you have to calculate it by hour. Even though I show every day I send more energy to the grid than I use from the grid, I am still, according to them, a net user rather than a net supplier.

Like I said, crazy pills.
As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm

I'm curious what kind of crazy pills (so many nowadays) and how the faux-hawk looked.

Got through telemeeting 1 already, which started rough but smoothed out in the end. One more to go, but it's with our customer service and she's pretty chill, except a bit too chatty for my tastes. At least we can gossip about the others. Then over to svale to check out the latest house developments and then up to SF for one more screener. This one I've been the most eager to see and I'm delighted that they gave me an invite.

I must go to Menlo to pick up the last remaining onsen part - the heater which needed to be disconnected last time by a pro because it had electrical and gas lines. Then over to Levi’s to pick up my FIFA credentials. Then home for some more work. I just finished my review of The Furious but I want to give it one more pass before passing it on to Kevin.

Another workday - my 3 telemeet Thursday has shrunk to one and a half maybe. Iai tonight. Might go to midtown early to check out a new store that opened across the street called Work Wear. Looks like the carry Ben Davies and such. I’m needing some new BDUs because my khaki pair got horribly stained in the lap with hot tub muck. Thst just won’t do. I’m going to try one more soak and wash but it’s not looking salvageable.

Going to Lowe's for a window fan in the morning - need to cool the bedroom since it's too cool at night for the AC to come on since we set it at 76 - and then to Recycle to trade some books, and then to Rasputin to see what's new. Then laying low during the hot afternoon. Of course checking my work email occasionally.

More boxes for the garden. I have also gone zero days without Aoife destroying a water line in the garden. Yesterday, she ate a planter full of sunflower seedlings.
