Tell me about it. I mean, I only turned them in the last week of February and we are barely at June.

Just got a note from the accountant. His partner, assistant, fellow accountant, went on a bender back at tax time failing to file about 90 extensions and other tax returns. They are still trying to straighten everything out. Which is terrible but also BS, because he never informed me of this until just now rather than when it happened two months ago.

Why are fire alarms so damn hard to turn off nowadays? There was one beeping randomly here at my mom’s. It had one of those built in 10 year batteries. I couldn’t get it to stop and was so frustrated that I was tempted to smash it but it’s new and we’ll likely need it for another inspection so I tossed it in the fridge which is in the garage during construction. So annoying.

I had to get rid of one of those ten year ones because it kept going off. You couldn't turn it off at all.

I've smashed a few of them. Turns out they smash easily with a clenched fist.
