Note that I still must pass through several hoops to get in... like ICE.

Well that was rigorous. Over 30 pages of policies etc. to review for accreditation, plus a lengthy application form that asked for everything except for a blood and stool sample. 

Fingers crossed that I'm approved...

I requested Austria v Jordan, which will probably be lame, but it fit in my schedule, and I don't really care about the game itself, more the event. Most of the Levi's games look lame. But what do I know? My knowledge of soccer is limited to Shaolin soccer.

I have secured my FIFA laminate pass. What a process. But it's got my photo on it and I look good, considering that it was just a selfie on my liephone.

I've been volunteering for Rock Med for 39 years now. That's built in reflexes that do the work for me. I just gotta be present. 

Srsly tho - 39 is older than the bulk of our volunteers nowadays.

There's a request to work additional World Cup games. It only went out to those who are accredited because that process is long closed. I could work another next Friday - Paraguay vs. TBD. I'm going to see how Jordan v Austria goes and I might do it. I am trying to build up credit for OSL to get Tara in for our last run from the Rabbit Hutch on Balboa. They let go of that apartment in Sept and OSL is a high demand show, so they are limiting it to vols who have worked a lot of shows this year (what have you done lately strategy) and Tara has done nothing because she was completing her Juris Doctor and is now in Bar prep.
