Lee (2024)
#1
Lee stars Kate Winslett as WW2 photographer Lee Miller who was one of the first photographers to send out photos from the Concentration Camps. They weren't pretty. Much like Amy Adams in Nightbitch, most of Winslett in this film is anti-glamor as she goes from D-Day to Berchetesgarden with all sorts of unimaginable struggles. But Lee started off as a model and transitioned to fashion photography before becoming a War Photographer for English Vogue. It was quite the remarkable journey.

The film is pretty standard bio-pic fare except for one thing that gives it a rise above the ordinary. Plus Winslett takes off her kit quite often.

Kind of recommended for an interesting glimpse of WW2.
As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm
