Why didn't anybody go and see this film? It was quite good. The visuals were simply amazing. The great thing about Wachowski brothers is they always try something new. In this case it was the color pallette. It's similar to what Warren Beatty tried with "Dick Tracy", but they brought it up to eleven. I wish now I had seen it on the big screen.
The story is how Speed became Speed. We talk about Rex Racer and Racer X. I don't remember the evil cartel from the cartoon series, but it works very nicely. The one thing that was curious was that there were a lot of australian accents in the film, yet they filmed in Berlin. It was also nice to see Korean pop star, Rain, branching out. I'm glad he can still get a job.
