When I taught kids at Lam Kwoon, I had parents pull me aside and give me their blessing to beat their kids.
But if everyone weren't horrible, there wouldn't be much to watch would there? One of my tai chi associates posted on my fb feed how the show was about the perpetuation of how violence solves violence. srsly?
Good catch on that six pack tho. I was impressed they got the beer brand right (not distributed by Coors).

Aren't the martial arts about balance? How about a few good characters to balance out the horrible characters?
Come on beat the kids.

Consistent with the franchise, the women are cool. Those hawt moms. Amanda and Carmen are just trying to find balance amidst the Karate chaos.
Amanda & Carmen way outclass Daniel & Johnny. And then there was Ali and Kumiko, who also were totally out of Daniel's league.
I've been following Amanda's (Courtney) & Carmen's (Vanessa) IG. They are very entertaining. But I follow almost everyone on the cast now.

Yes, Amanda and Carmen are better. But who stole the notepad out of the therapist's hand when the therapist was commenting on her parenting. And Carmen sleeps with Johnny. I question her judgement.

I suspect we'll question Carmen's judgement even more when we meet Miguel's dad. She likes bad boys.
Ultimately I have the same question about Amanda.
You know that therapist cousin was played by Macchio's real daughter, yes? That was an Easter egg that I missed.

I knew that. That factoid has been out and about on the inter webs.
Whatever happened to the Pat Morita documentary? I need to see that but have lost track of it.

That reveal about the daughter came out after the show came out. Sad I missed it. Kreese's real life son was in last season. But you knew that because he was at that awards presentation, right?

Pays to be behind I guess. Unless you read the big spoiler on EW, dammit.

It pays to be in front. I literally got paid to be in front and publish a bunch of spoilers. But we posted clear spoiler warnings at the beginning of the articles. I'm just bummed that I couldn't spoil that.
Feckin EW. Crap articles but they got the eyeballs. I so wish I could write for them.
There was another documentary - the Reelz one where I was tapped to be a talking head early last year ( http://www.brotherhoodofdoom.com/doomFor...p?tid=6302). It was supposed to drop around the time CK did. No word on that. I searched the Reelz site (yes, they're a real thing - they got a website and everything).

Good to know. I don't have that.
The producer was good about keeping me in the loop for a few months but I've heard nothing in a while...

Ep09 and Ep10 are in the bag. And goddammitt, if I'm not waiting to see how Season 5 goes. The ending was very good or at least left a lot of interesting threads to follow. I was unsurprised by the winner of the All-Valley since that was the spoiler I received. But I was surprised by the winner of the All-Valley because I didn't think it would go that way. The musical guest was also surprising. Lots of moments I couldn't believe they went there.
And now we wait.

Right?
I've made a few $K off this show already. So yeah, I'm all in...
