Locke and Keye (Netflix 2020)
#1
The Locke family live in the Key house. And the key house is full of keys that do all sorts of weird things.

After the Locke family patriarch is killed by a man demanding to know more about Key House, the Locke family relocates to said house. Strange things ensue.

This was a graphic novel written by Joe Hill, son of Stephen King. (It seems my entertainment is dominated by the King family at the moment) I'm two episodes in  and so far it has been okay. There have been a few scenes that really grabbed me, but most of it is pretty meh and cliched. It also gets pretty juvenile at times.

There is a big mystery at the heart of the story which the show runners keep dropping hints about. There are a lot of flashbacks to what happened to dad.

I'll keep watching for now.

I'm getting toward the end and enjoying it, but it will depend on how they tie it up. Hill is a good writer, so I have high hopes.

Were those hopes fulfilled? Is this D00M recommended?

Season one ended with a cliff hanger, so we'll have to see. It was so long ago I've forgotten most of it, except the nature of the cliff hanger.

Why is this under Netflix movies? It is clearly a *series*.

I demand to speak to the manager!

L & K is back. I can't remember a single thing that was going on except there were keys and there were locks. Most of the first episode is tQ asking who is that guy and me saying I don't know and her getting angry for me not knowing. Part of the problem is that one of the characters took on a new identity at the end of the last episode of the first season. And we couldn't quite tell who that person was. tQ guessed the lobster boy. I said don't be ridiculous. Then it turned out to be the lobster boy.

We did watch the recap but that didn't help too much. I think we'll get it by the time the whole season is done and then promptly forget it all.

We had the same problem. And it seems like there are more characters that I don't remember at all. I'm about to give up on it.

Tara said she was watching it and thought it was bad. She didn't recommend it for me.
