Our county's health care system sux. It's why I've been volunteering for a free clinic for over thirty years.  Okay, that's not quite true. I did it to get into concerts for free.

We made our quota for our first print issue. 

Now to see how the website subscription program goes.

The original plan was to have the print mag available by Xmas. It probably won’t be until mid Jan. The website was originally supposed to go live in Oct but I said there was no way. The launch article was ready Nov 21 (a Black Friday play). It was turned on yesterday and some bystanders told me before the new company did. Then they told me it’s not ready until Jan 1, but it’s live so I’m rolling with it. 

The launch hasn’t instilled a lot of confidence in me that the new company can handle it. I will do my part to the best of my ability for as long as it goes - it is additional income for me and will hopefully make up for the economic impact of the guberment on my wallet, but it’s costing me my freelance gigs which was also extra money. 

I know I’ll be thrillled to be back in print. It’s fun working on the issues again. But we shall see how long this might be sustainable.

Time will tell.
