My e5 D00M recommendation still stands. Whenever you’re ready for a goodly hit of weird, it’s only like 25 mins if your life.
Note that Tara watched these out of order back when it was a web series. She went back and watched them front to back in order when the Netflix series came out but she said it didn’t help at all.

E12: There’s a Wizard family - they aren’t wizards - that’s their last name. 6 brothers and 1 sister. Crispin Wizard is a mechanic and like clown decorations. It’s revealed that when he was 10, everyone forgot his birthday so he ran away and joined the circus for 10 years. The other sibs realize it’s his birthday again and throw him a surprise party but he’s offended and comes in swinging his clown bat smashing everything. Meanwhile Bee and PuppyCat are on a mission to the clown planet and PuppyCat gets sick which makes him constantly sneeze and drip bright pink snot everywhere and puts him in a surlier mood than ever. Bee and Crispin have some chemistry, and Bee asks him on a date, secretly wanting to take him to the clown planet. She makes him wear a huge mask so he can’t see and gives him clown noses to stuff in his ears. Then she makes up a flimsy story to Temp-bot so she sends them back to the clown planet to finish their mission. Turns out the clown planet is filled with little ghost like beings about the size of hamsters. The mission is to scream into ballon’s and then stick the beings inside them where they make outrageous yells. Crispin loves it. The clown planet is like a giant funhouse. At one point they are sliding down a psychedelic slide with PuppyCat in front spewing huge gobs of pink snot that they have to dodge. Bee puts the mask back on Crispin and transports him back to the island. He’s very happy with their friendship and they both end up sleeping together on the Bee’s sofa (but they just sleep because this is a family show… I think). It’s a very sweet episode about friendship and more coherent than most.

Okay, I watched ep5. And ep6, but only because I dozed into it. Not that that's an indictment of the series. I was just in a drowsy state. I'd describe it as hypnotic cotton candy. Hyper-inventive, very stream-of-consciousness, troubling in the sense that you fear it all means something and you're just not smart enough to grasp it.

Candy is a good way to describe it. I’ve given up on thinking it means something. I think it’s just stream of consciousness as if the writer was just recording dreams in a nonjudgmental way. The question is ‘will cf watch more?’
E13 has three interwoven story arcs. Howell, the owner of the cat cafe, hides in the bathroom for his birthday whilst everyone else wants cake for breakfast. Everyone gives him goofy gifts while he sits on the toilet. Wesley wizard catches the golden eye fish which transforms into a weird mermaid who keeps flipping him off. And PuppyCat needs to go to the bathroom but demands to use a toilet instead of a bush so Bee takes him (I think it’s a him but I also think it’s more cat than puppy) to the toilet planet where he poops stars that clean the toilet. This was a more coherent ep and it kept alluding to other events that may or may not have happened in other eps.

E14 brought together a lot of ideas from previous eps: the eyeball plants, the tear bubbles, the giant black hands, tempbot’s crush on Bee’s cell phone. It was a Cardamon ep, the 7 year old landlord with Sticky the dog. It almost made me think that there is a grand design behind it all, but I’m not going to work at it that hard to unravel its meaning. Still entertaining tho.

E15: Another ep that brings a lot together making me question if there is a coherent design. Moully escapes the black hands, explains the wish crystals and the tear bubbles and makes them go away. Might have woken Cardamom’s mom too. Puppycat’s retraining was suitably surreal. Just one more ep left and this will all come together. Or not.

S1 finale - it looked like things were coming together. There was some resolution with Deckard quitting cooking school, Cardamom’s mom waking up, the interdimensional black tentacle hands, and the magic tears. Then things got truly twisted with PuppyCat launching his flying saucer and using his transportation gun too much, some strange connection between PuppyCat and cardamom’s mom, the island taking off to space, and Bee getting her chest ripped open to expose her heart and release naked rainbow pastel colored ghost Bees.
I haven’t a clue what this all meant. There’s development on s2 and if that comes to pass, I’m all in.
I do recommend all D00M to check out one ep, and if it’s only one, stick with e5. It’s probably not anyone’s cup of tea here, but at least you’ll know more about DM’s taste in anime..

I'm beginning to think you are just playing Mad-Libs with your reviews.

Check out an ep and see for yourself. They aren’t long, less than a half hour.
