Two bums (reminiscent of the Dumb and Dumber pair) discover a giant fly in the trunk of a stolen car and decide to focus their energies on training it to make them money. (There is mention of maybe teaching it to go in to rob a bank while they wait safely outside, but this never pans out, and I'm sorry if I've given anything that doesn't happen away).
The highlight of the movie comes when they throw a squeaky toy to teach the giant fly to fetch (note: they've taped its wings so it can't fly off, so it waddle-walks to fetch it). Why is this a highlight? Because Manti (our new kitten), half asleep in my lap, sprung wide awake and couldn't take her eyes off it.
Not recommended unless Manti is there to watch with you, or you're a giant, slightly bored maggot.
