I wanted something to laugh at. Too bad this wasn't it. The film is occasionally funny but mostly not.
Their half sister is getting married in London but Kristen Bell and her brother Paul really don't want to go. The mother of all three children really wants to get together for the family reunion which has grown apart over the years. There is bad blood between the sisters and Paul doesn't get along with the mother, played by Alison Janney, because mom is erasing the memory of his father. Naturally, after some complications they all end up in England for a disastrous wedding. Cue laugh track.
There were a few bits that were funny. But mostly it was cringe. There was an awkward threesome between Paul, his boyfriend, and his boyfriend's former lover. Alice is dealing with a boss she is also sleeping with and a man she met on the plane who also sleeps with her. Hijinks.
It all resolves in the end with happiness.
I'm giving this a strong recommendation because of the ultra-vi sword battle at the wedding. Blood spattered wedding dresses everywhere.

As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm
