Started on the final season. My first thought was that the lighting style must have changed beacause Janet looked older to me. Maybe I'm influenced by Simu's post, but it seems much more like a run of the mill sitcom than it used to, not as charming or quirky.

I’m having a difficult time reconciling what Liu said. He wasn’t in the early portion of S5 because he was filming Shang Chi. Phuong has his own show so he’s not rocking the boat. Paul showed support for Nicole’s new show being diplomatic. I’m curious what Andrea thinks - she’s the quietist of the cast (painfully evident if you watch any panels).
S5 has some really good eps - they were circling the Appa/Jung reconciliation and I’ve got a soft spot for what happens to Janet. But there are plenty of filler eps too.

The episodes got better as the season went on. A couple were quite funny. Sad that it ended; they were setting up some good story lines.

Sounds just like how I felt about it. They were working towards some nice S6 ideas with all the main characters grappling with their unique issues.
The final shot worked as best as it could, given the circumstances.
